Joe Milligan owns a local diner - "Joe's Diner". Joe becomes a Merchant Affiliate and a free Associate Member. Joe presents each customer with a Rewards Card as he is ringing up the sale. The customer is happy because they will earn Reward Points on their meal. Joe is happy because he knows that the customer will be back, so they can use their ClubBucks card again. And since Joe referred his customer to become a cardholder Member, he will get the “Pay Points” on his customer’s purchases with his business and with any other participating businesses.
The customer leaves Joe's Diner with their new Rewards Card and a list of local participating Merchants. They stop and buy flowers at "Mary's Flower Shop" on the way home, because Mary's is listed as a participating Merchant.
